Who We Are
Angel Hands is a non-profit organization based in Maui, dedicated to supporting our community through donations of formal wear to those in need, including families affected by the 2023 Maui wildfires.
Our Story
In August, founder Terri Ewbank, owner of Elly’s Formal Wear & Bridal on Maui, shared a social media video calling for prom dress donations. She and a team of dedicated volunteers created a Prom Pop-up Store, providing a red-carpet shopping experience for Lahainaluna High School students affected by the wildfires. This event allowed students to choose the prom attire of their dreams without burdening their families with the costs.
This initiative was a great success and was even featured on Hawaii News Now, Maui Now, and other news outlets:

Project Goals for 2024
As the community begins to rebuild, disposable income remains limited for events like prom. Angel Hands is committed to ensuring that Lahainaluna juniors and seniors can once again enjoy prom in style.
How to Partner with Us
We are seeking partners to support this mission, either through donations of physical goods or financial contributions.
Donations Needed
- Dresses: Short and long prom-appropriate dresses in all sizes, including plus-size. Preferred styles include glitter, bling, and more conservative options.
- Women’s Formal Shoes: Dress shoes suitable for warmer weather, including strappy heels and classic pumps in all sizes.
- Accessories for Women: Evening clutches, costume jewelry, and wraps.
- Men’s Suits and Tuxedos: Slim-fit and contemporary styles in all sizes, including flashier options with sequins or patterns.
- Men’s Dress Shirts: Slim-fit button-up shirts in mostly solid colors.
- Men’s Dress Shoes: All sizes and styles, with a preference for black or brown.
- Men’s Accessories: Ties, suspenders, belts, and socks.
